Welcome to MailPost - The Java Mail Post Gateway

MailPost is a Java based Mail Gateway. It listens to a IMAP folder and forward messages to MailPost Plugins to handle the Messages. The default plugin, WMLBlogger, blogs messages to a ftp server and builds both WML and HTML blogs.

Background

If you are like me and have an ISP that does not allow inbound connection, then MailPost can help you in getting at least some "online" services running. I needed a way to host a service that could easily post blogs (typically pictures of my Son) onto a web-site. This is how the MailPost project started.
